Visit the Welcome Center

While here, make your first stop at the Depot’s Welcome Center located at 220 N Salem Street, Apex. Situated in the historic train station in downtown Apex, and open Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00 pm, the Welcome Center offers brochures, maps, and guides to help you uncover the exciting, charming, and authentic experiences that Apex has to offer!

While at the Welcome Center, check out the historic caboose located right next to the Depot. While visiting, you may even spot a train go by on the tracks directly behind the Depot building! You can also explore the Depot’s history and browse our “Peak of Good Living” merchandise that includes a wide variety of t-shirts, jackets, canvas bags, and travel cups.
