Apex EarthFest is an engaging, interactive festival for our local community, offering ways to learn about, participate in, and celebrate our planet.

This year’s celebration is centered around Sustainable Fashion and features:

Live and roving performances featuring Holler Choir Band

Sustainable Fashion Tips & More:
Fashion show with clothing materials from Dorcas Ministries Thrift Store.
Clothing swap with 416 Clothing Trade where you can bring your gently used, clean clothing to swap with your neighbors and find a new piece for your own closet! No money required to participate. Any clothing left over will be donated to local non-profits.
Refabricate documentary showing
Recycled accessory bar by Note in the Pocket features opportunities for attendees to create accessories like bracelets using recycled materials

Pollinator and Plant Installations:
Arbor Day planting with Town of Apex staff and elected officials
Pollinator garden planting in front of the John M. Brown Community Center

Food, Recycling, and Composting Offerings:
Low waste food truck rodeo offering BPI-certified product containers including Arepa Culture, Buoy Bowls, and Peak City Cocktails (offering mocktails)
Compost and recycling demonstrations by community partners
