The Local Spot Passport

The Local Spot Passport returns June 19th through September 7th, 2026! Grab your Local Spot Passport and discover all of the great places where you’re welcome to sip, shop, stroll, and experience the Downtown Apex. Participating businesses within the social district boundaries have been divided into two different types of stops: Shop Stops, which are retail-based, and Sip Stops, where you can purchase a Local Spot beverage.

How to Participate:
1. Grab your passport! You can pick up a Local Spot Passport at any participating Sip Stop, The Depot (220 N Salem Street), or download a PDF and print it at home!

2. Sip, shop, and collect signatures! Grab a drink or just stop into Sip Stops and Shop Stops and ask for a signature in your passport. No purchases are required at either stops to collect a signature, but supporting local businesses is highly encouraged.

3. Submit your completed passport at The Depot, open weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, to be entered to receive a Local Spot Summer Prize Pack! Participants may submit their completed passport after business hours by dropping it off in The Depot mail slot.

The Local Spot is a designated Social District in downtown Apex where visitors can enjoy alcoholic beverages from participating businesses while walking around downtown, eating at restaurants, stopping in participating retail shops, and exploring public areas! Learn more at apexnc.org/localspot.
