Apex Night Out (featuring Touch-a-Truck)

Event Details

National Night Out was designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community under positive circumstances. National Night Out events are held in August nationwide, however our event is held in October to beat the summer heat. There will be safety information and displays, as well house games and lots of interactive activities.

Touch-a-Truck allows children to get in the driver’s seat with a free hands-on experience with vehicles of all kinds. We will have local representatives and their vehicles from emergency, construction, landscaping, military, transportation, and delivery all in one place! Children will be allowed to touch, climb on, and ask questions about their favorite trucks and cars in a safe and supervised environment.

Know Before You Go:

• Horn free hour is from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm for those that may be sensitive to loud sounds and sirens.
• This is a rain or shine event – be prepared for all weather!
• Adult supervision is required.
• There are no road closures during this event, but some parking on campus may be closed to vehicle traffic. View the downtown parking map for walkable parking locations.
• Town staff may be on site during the event to take photos/videos
