DESCRIPTION:Hip Hop Workshop\nSaturday\, February 22\, 2025 | 12 – 2 pm\nApex Senior Center (63 Hunter St) – Seaboard\, Hughes\, and Hunter Rooms \nJoin us for an interactive workshop featuring Nick Courmon\, an acclaimed spoken word performer\, who cultivates critical thinking and positive change one poem\, one performance\, or one person at a time. After his performance\, Nikki Turner\, an award winning dance teacher\, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Alex Weiss\, will host an all ages\, all skill level Hip Hop Dance class. Alexander Flowers\, founder of BrainSTEMology\, will have an exhibit highlighting how STEM concepts can be taught through hip hop music. \nFood and beverages will be provided. \nSign-up for the Hip Hop Workshop here.
