GoApex Bus

Route 1

GoApex Route 1 is a fare-free service for all riders providing hourly trips to over 10 stops across Apex. The bus service operates 6 AM to 10 PM Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays. If you have a bicycle that needs to come with you, the bus also provides a rack to transport your bike! Click here to view a PDF map of GoApex Route 1.

A free complementary ADA paratransit service, called GoApex Door to Door, is eligible for riders who cannot use the GoApex Route 1 fixed route service due to a disability. This service will be operated by GoWake Access. GoApex Door to Door will be available during the same days and times as the fixed-route service: 6am to 10pm, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays. GoApex Bus Stop Tour

Ten talented artists, both local and from North Carolina, were chosen to beautify twelve select GoApex bus stops with vibrant sidewalk murals, marking the inaugural GoApex Bus Stop Art Tour. This initiative is designed to elevate the experiences of both riders and pedestrians, raise visibility for the GoApex Route 1 service, and add aesthetic appeal to bus stop locations throughout Apex.

How to take the Tour:

  1. Hop on the GoApex Route 1 bus at any stop, and ride the full loop back to your original stop (total travel time 1 hour).
  2. Check out the Bus Stop Tour map and drive to visit stops throughout Apex to view the public art.

Note: Bus operators are unable to pause at art stops to allow for riders to get off and view murals. If you would like to get off the bus and view the art up close, please plan to get back on the bus at the next scheduled stop time.
