DESCRIPTION:National Night Out was designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community under positive circumstances. National Night Out events are held in August nationwide\, however our event is held in October to beat the summer heat. There will be safety information and displays\, as well house games and lots of interactive activities. \nTouch-a-Truck allows children to get in the driver’s seat with a free hands-on experience with vehicles of all kinds. We will have local representatives and their vehicles from emergency\, construction\, landscaping\, military\, transportation\, and delivery all in one place! DESCRIPTION:Summer Slam (3v3 Basketball Tournament) ~ July 26\, 2025\nJohn M. Brown Community Center (53 Hunter St) | 11am – 3pm (Tournament runs 9am – 5pm) \nThe Town of Apex is hosting its first-ever 3v3 Summer Slam Tournament\, bringing together players from across the community for a full day of competitive basketball and fun. Teams will compete in one of seven divisions based on age and gender. The tournament will start with group play followed by semifinals and championship games. Each team is guaranteed at least two games\, and there will be additional activities alongside the tournament! Limited spots available (each bracket is limited to the first 12 teams that register)\, so secure your spot early! Think Unity: Western Wake Crisis Ministry\, 1600 Olive Chapel Rd Suite 408\, 9 am – 12 pm. Join us for “Think Unity” – a painting service project at Western Wake Crisis Ministry (WWCM). Whether you’re an                experienced painter or a first-time volunteer\, your efforts will help revitalize the pantry at a community-driven organization that supports individuals in crisis. WWCM provides essential services like food\, financial            assistance\, and housing support to Apex residents.
